This book began as a job completion and integration of the text "Complements machines, volumetric machines and motorized dynamic". It provides valuable tools for the understanding of the basic principles for the design of fluid machines. The text examines the majority of the fluid machines illustrating, on the basis of the operating conditions, the steps necessary to determine: configuring the device, the main dimensions and constructive shape. The exercises are of general validity and are derived from the collection of exam topics proposed in recent years in the course of Mechanical Engineering of Wisdom (Chair of Turbomachinery). Some examples also make reference to the written tests of the State Exam for enrollment of Engineers of the Province of Rome.
